“I don’t recognise us”, Mr Neb says candidly during our second timeout in the second quarter with 3 minutes left. ISA has pushed the score to 23 to 7, creating a 14 points gap, the Seadragons has struggled immensely on the offensive court, and their defence was lacking in effort, allowing many open layups and uncontested shots. The Seadragons has never experienced this type of trough performance, as Mr Neb emphasised, “We are at the bottom now, I guess anything we do from now is just up”.

After starting the game with a downturn, the Seadragons looks unfamiliar in their offence orientation and defence. But things took a turn in the second half as our team engaged more effort into defence, The Seadragon made a big run in points to close the gap to 3 points entering the last 5 minutes of the last quarter. With under 3 minutes to go, Thomas Guo(SDSN leader& Small forward) took over the quarter with 8 points in 3 minutes. The layup came from a screen as he drove to the basket and finished through contact with ISA’s center(tied at 44). Then followed the catch and shoot three off of Alex’s inbound pass, to put the sea dragons up by 3. Last, with a steal on ISA’s guard on defence, transitioning to a fast break and was inflicted with an unsportsmanlike foul as he continued to lay the ball in, game secured as he extended the lead up to 5, an exciting comeback emphasised by Thomas’s effort in the 4th quarter.
