Seadragons 47 vs 20 ASJ. 09, Jan, 2025

Jan 09. At the home of the Seadragons, they take on the ASJ Knights for the first time in one and a half years. Since their stretch of rival games in 2023—March, May, June—both teams have undergone roster changes; ASJ losing a productive forward lineup has forced them to switch to playing a more small-ball oriented offence, increasingly initiating offence from the perimeter; Tsinglan has experienced similar changes to their roster, with less depth on the wing and defence in the paint, however, they the Seadragons still have the personnel and tactics to run their flow offence while maintaining their signature 22 press defence.

In their recent games, including this one, the Seadragons have significantly benefited from their reliance on implementing a stretch wing and aggressive guard offence—to put it in simpler terms, creating an offence with more emphasis on drive and kicks, utilising the dynamic of a stable shooter and a wing small forward.
